Briticom is a manufacturer of high-quality Fibre Optic Components and Assemblies which enable connections between networks. Therefore, Fibre Adapters are used in patch panels, boxes and other fibre passive equipment. Adapters enable the mating of two fibre optic connectors with high-precision alignment sleeves to ensure reliability. Our adapters are available in simplex and duplex, a variety of colours and with or without flanges and shutters. Our adapters are also available in standard datacomms loss as well as low-loss for Telecom.

Patch Cords are factory assembled connectors to fibre patch cables and are used to mate with connectors of different passive ODFs or to plug into fibre optic active equipment. Briticom offers a full range of fibre patch cords in simplex and duplex, various connectors and cables in different colours, as well as the different thickness of jackets 900um, 2mm and 3mm. Some connectors have extra options for Uni-Boots, Angled Boots & Short Boots. Briticom Pigtails are factory assembled connectors to fibre tails, spliced into the ends of fibre cables which are then mated by using fibre adaptors, to fibre patch cords. Briticom offers a full range of fibre pigtails with various connectors, in multiple colours. Pre-Terminated fibre cable assemblies are ideal for short or long cable runs where a direct connection to equipment or panels is required. These cables allow network installations to be simplified by direct connection; bypassing wall boxes, ODFs or fibre patch panels, resulting in greatly improved fibre management.
