The Briticom® fibre optic OTDR dead zone eliminator also called launch leads, are factory assembled connectors to bare fibre and are often a necessity when testing with an OTD. They are designated to measure the insertion loss of the near-end and/or far-end connection of a fibre optic link using an OTDR. These rugged boxes are airtight, watertight and incredibly tough. These military approved cases are IP65 rated and are used in the harshest environments. Select this version if you want the best protection for your lead-in fibre.
