Briticom® offers the Thermal Micro-Strip Precision Fibre Stripper, with integrated heating elements to enable the softening and stripping of coatings such as mylene, Teflon, Kapton®, PVC and Hytrel®. The Soft-Strip® system permits precise stripping of tough coatings with less than 3lbs of peak pulling force for multi-fibre ribbon, and less than 1lb for single fibre. This means that with less pulling force, fibre damage is negated, and higher quality splices and connections are maintained.
